Our Own Personal Economic Stimulus
The government was ever so kind to give us back our downpayment and more on this house to the tune of $8,140. (The extra $140 was interest paid on our $8,000 - who knew?) We put the majority of the money towards paying off my car (woo hoo!) and paying tuition. However, I thought it was fate that we got an extra hundred bucks and the rug that I happened to want REALLY bad but couldn't justify buying was also about one hundred bucks. So I ordered it and I'm so so happy!

Oooh I LOVE that rug! Very cute! I would kill for a rebate like that right now, and every cent of it would go into re-doing my horriffic bathroom! (Ok maybe just a *little* would go for a shopping trip... ;) )
