The executive chair I picked up on Craigslist for free, Kari denies any culpability when it comes to this chair, she was proud I actually brought home the above chair, but she is distancing herself from this one. Admittedly, it's very rough and there is no guarantee we can restore it, but I thought it would be fun to try. I have torn it down and disassembled the seat mechanism and legs assembly. I still need to strip the leather and batting, but waiting til I have replacement fabric to make templates, which will hopefully make the restoration easier.

Why don't you try to match the leather for the seat? You can buy pieces of leather online. You can also dye the good pieces. ann
Hi Ann, great suggestions. I think the picture is a little deceptive, the leather is in really bad shape and worn out and torn on the seat and the back is also worn thin, leaving me with the armrests, which are a little better. This is why I'm thinking of replacing it all with fabric. But the chair is near the end of a long list of projects, so it gives me plenty of time to consider some options. Micheal
